Biomass CHP system
The main aspects of the demonstration is to show how a bio-mass fuelled CHP-plant can be integrated in a housing area with low and varying heating energy demands tightly integrated with solar heating systems and making use of the solar storage tanks as buffer storages.
The electrical output from the plant is 100 kW, while the thermal heat output will be app. 240 kJ/s (kW). The total output is thus 340 kW. The in feed rate of wood chips is 430 kW.
