Wood chips fuelled downdraft open core staged air gasifier CHP-plant with planned variation of the heat and power output performance.
BioSynergi Process will develop their patented air-staged bio-mass gasification CHP plant in order to perform energy efficient combined heat and power production under operation with low but varying demand of heat. In order to reach this goal a development of the PLC-operated control system, the graphic user interface (scada system) and associated mechanical components of the plant will take place. The development task will include the implementation of a strategy of operation for a bio-mass CHP gasification plant for balancing heat supply and heat demand by means of a series of small remote heat storage tanks. Furthermore at strategy for automatic start/stop of the gasification plant will be developed and tested.
